Our School
Introduction : The name of our school is Shukhnagar Primary School. It is situated in Khulna.
Description : Our school has a brick-built building. There are twenty rooms in our school. Besides class rooms, there are the Headmaster’s room, office room, teachers common room and the library room.
Teachers and students : About five hundred students read in this school. We have twelve teachers. Our teachers are well-qualified.
Time : Our School starts at 8.00 a.m. and breaks at 12.00 p.m.
Facilities : There is a playground in front of our school. We play different games like football, cricket and badminton in the playground. Our library is big. There are many books in it.
Conclusion : Our school is a famous school for its discipline and good results. We love our school very much.
The Cow
Introduction : The cow is a gentle domestic animal. It is the most common animal in the world. It is found all over the world.
Description : The cow has two eyes and two long ears. It has four legs and two horns and a long tail. It has teeth only in the lower jaw. The cow is about seven feet long and four or five feet high. Its body is covered with short hair.

Usefulness : The cow is a very useful animal. It gives us milk. Milk is very nutritious. Butter, ghee, curd and many sweetmeats are made from milk. Cowdung is a very good fertilizer. Bones and horns of cow are used for making buttons and combs. Shoes, bags, belts etc. are made of its skin.

The Cat

Description : The cat is a four-footed animal. Its tail is long. The cat has two little bright eyes. It can see in the dark. It has sharp teeth and claws. The cat has soft pad under its legs. So it can walk without making any sound. Its body is covered with fur.

Rice
Introduction : Rice is the main food in our country. It comes from paddy.
Where grown : Hot climate, rain and moist soil are suitable for the cultivation of rice. Rice grows in plenty in Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, Japan, Malayasia, Indonesia and America.
Kinds : In Bangladesh there are four kinds of rice. They are Aush, Aman, Boro and IRRI.
How grown : Our farmers plough the land well. Then they sow seeds. The plants grow very quickly. After three months the paddy ripens and the plants are cut down. The farmers husk paddy and get rice.
Usefulness : We get chira, muri and khai from rice. Various cakes are made from it. Its straw is used as fuel and food for cattle.
Conclusion : We live on rice. We should grow more rice.
Paper
Introduction : Paper is a thin material to write on. We cannot go even a day without paper.
History : Paper was first made in China. At first handmade paper was used. It was very thick. Then paper mills were first started in Germany.
How made : Paper is made from rags, straws, bamboos, jute and many other waste things. They are boiled and made into pulp.
Usefulness : Paper is very useful to us. We use it everyday. Books, newspapers, magazines etc are printed on paper. It is used in schools, colleges and offices. Education is quite impossible without paper. Almost nothing can be done without paper.
