They have to live in unhygienic conditions. To earn their bread and butter they have to do some odd and risky jobs. If they fall sick, they do not get medical treatment for want of money. They sometimes remain unfed too. Such is the situation of street children.

Socrates believed that an angry man was more of a beast than a human being. His wife used to lose her temper on the slightest excuse. One day the woman became more furious than ever.
Socrates was one of the wise men of the old. He was born in Greece. He was the teacher of Plato and grand teacher of Aristotle. But he was being oppressed by his wife. She often insulted him heartlessly. However the great scholar tolerated everything with great patience.
One day when she began to insult the great scholar of Greece, he went outside of the residence. He sat on the doorstep and was looking at the sky.
The wife followed Socrates and tried her best to irritate him. But he remained silent. Finding that her husband was not paying the least heed to her word, she went upto him with a bucket full of water and poured a flash of water over him. The passers-by on the street got much amused at the incident. Socrates joined them in their laughter. He, then, quietly remarked, “I was expecting this, because I know after thunder comes rain.”

Dear Rajib,
Best wishes to you. Hope you are quite well. I am happy to know that you are being curious about the village fair that is held in our village every year.
In our village, the village fair is generally held on the bank of ‘Khalda’ river. Our village fair is a kind of exhibition. People of all ages from the nearby villages gather at our village fair. In our village fair the shopkeepers start coming early in the morning and construct temporary sheds. There is a big gathering of buyers and sellers. Local potters, weavers, carpenters etc. bring their articles and display those verybeautifully. Most attractively painted and decorated earthen pots, basket made of bamboo and cane, small and beautiful furniture are also available in our village fair. The day of village fair is very joyful to me because every year I visit to our village fair with my parents and buy many things.
With best wishes
Lipi
